Not So Common Natural Anti-Aging Tips

Everyone wants to look younger faster and they not sure how to go about doing this. There are a lot of tips out there to help with anti-aging such as creams, masks, serums and more. I always say that most of the time, your body will respond to natural products quicker than synthetic products because our bodies are natural to begin with.

There are a few Natural Anti-Aging Tips out there that are not as common as everyone would think but they really do work and I recommend these tips quicker than products you can buy in the shops.Regardless of environmental influences, there are aging factors that we simply have no control over that are a result of our genetic makeup and make us who we are.

Lymphatic Facial Massage

Massage is one of the quickest ways you can help your body. Lymphatic Drainage is a technique that helps your lymph system move all the unwanted toxins in your body quicker. Those bags under your eyes, saggy chins and unwanted fine lines and wrinkles can all be maintained by regular massage.

You can do the massage at home. All you need to do is gently massage your face once a day. You drain the area towards your temples and under your chin. These areas are where your Lymph ducts sit. You will see results instantly. I like to massage in lines and overlap my lines to make sure that I do not miss anything out.

Reduce inflammation

When your skin is exposed to excess inflammation for a long time, your skin begins to stretch and fine lines and wrinkles can appear.

Reduce the inflammation by mixing ½ a spoon of Olive oil and ¼ of a spoon of Turmeric powder every day first thing in the morning. Not only will it help with your fine lines but it can also help with skin breakouts and will improve your skin tone.

Moisturise

Moisturising is one of the most if not the most important step in any skincare routine and using best water based moisturizer is must.

Not only will it ensure that your skin stays moisturised but it also helps your skin to stay hydrated. Hydration is the biggest factor to fine lines and wrinkles. Your skin starts to dry out and then wrinkles will form.

It is important that you use a day and night cream once a day. A night cream is thicker so will allow your skin to absorb all of the active ingredients throughout the night and a day cream is a bit thinner as well as contains an SPF.

Omega Fatty Acids

Omega oils are fish oil supplements. You can even get a vegetarian equivalent such as Flax Seed oil. These oils are rich in Omega Fatty Acids. The oils promote cell regeneration and eliminates waste from your body. This means that the oils help your body get rid of all the unwanted toxins as well as helps your skin cells to grow new, healthy skin cells. You will start to look and feel much younger in no time.

Hydration

Doctors will often tell you that you need to drink at least 2 litres of water a day and 2.5 litres if you are male. This might seem hard at first but staying hydrated is crucial for a healthy looking skin. Staying hydrated allows your body to eliminate toxins quicker. This will results in a smooth, healthy looking skin tone. In less than a week, you will have a healthy radiating skin. This tip is not difficult and yet has astonishing benefits that your whole body will enjoy.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids

I love using Alpha Hydroxy Acids on my skin and you can find them in products that are in your home on a daily basis!

Citrus Fruits and Vegetables, Lactic Acids (Milk and Yogurt), Almonds, Apples which contain Malic Acid, are all rich in Alpha Hydroxy Acids. These Acids will help your skin reduce the appearance of premature ageing.

You can eat these items or even place them on your skin as a mask to see results.

SPF

The UV rays of the sun emits 3 types of Rays. UVA, UVB and UVC.

UVA is the Ray that causes ageing in the skin. It is not a ray that can be felt however, it causes damage to our skin that results in premature ageing, fine lines and wrinkles and skin conditions.
Being in the sun for too long without wearing any protection on your skin can accelerate the ageing process in the skin. No matter what the weather is like, you should always put on an SPF if you are going to be outside for longer than 30 minutes.

Please remember the keep reapplying throughout the day. A lot of day creams and foundations do contain an SPF factor so you will just need to reapply in the afternoon.

These are just few simple tips that can easily be done on a daily basis and does not take up a lot of your time. Sometimes it is best to go back to basics and use natural products and ingredients that can benefit your skin in a healthy and effective way.

Please keep in mind that if any of these tips cause your skin to go red, irritated or burn, remove the product from your skin right away and rinse your skin with cold water. If the reaction is still there after 24 hours, go have it seen to.

A healthy diet and regular exercise will help your skin to improve and will help with your anti-ageing routine.“Your face is marked with lines of life, put there by love and laughter, suffering and tears. It’s beautiful.”
