Acne is a condition that does not discriminate between gender, skin color, and place of origin or age. Acne can occur at any age once puberty has hit and will not stop at a certain age. The most common places for acne to strike is your face, chest and back area. There are a few tricks that can help you control your Acne break out.
Please keep in mind that there are a few degrees of acne and if you have a severe case, you need to be under the watch of a Dermatologist and doctor. These tricks only help people who do not have a severe case of Acne. When it comes to acne, the sun is not your friend. The sun can inflame the skin, something you want to avoid when treating acne.
Drink Extra Water
This is one of the most important steps that you can do to help your body get rid of Acne on your chin, chest and anywhere else on your body. Water helps your body flush out the toxins that cause your skin to clog up. Increasing your water intake will help your body to improve your skin’s health.

It is recommended that a girl drinks up to 2.2 liters of water a day and male drinks up to 3 liters of water. Please keep in mind that this is an estimate. Every body can only handle as much water as the body allows. Do not push your intake to the point where you start to feel sick. Slowly add a glass of water a week and build up to the recommended amount of water.
Aloe Vera
If you want to clear your cheek and chin acne at a fast pace, I strongly suggest that you go and buy yourself Aloe Vera Gel. Make sure that the gel is as natural as possible. Aloe Vera is so affected because of its soothing properties. It will help to get rid of the redness in the skin and will stop the itch.
Place the gel on the affected area and leave on your skin for 10 minutes. Once it has dried, you can wash it off or you can leave it on. It really is your choice.
Repeat this process twice a day for a few weeks and you will see that your skin will not itch as much as it used to and the redness will go away.
Toothpaste
You may not know about this trick but toothpaste can be used for more than just cleaning your teeth. The microbial properties that help clean your teeth can also help get rid of bacteria that is found in your skin, specifically your chest area.
Before you climb into bed at night, clean the affected area with warm water and dry it thoroughly. Apply the toothpaste to the area you want to treat and leave it over night. Use cold water to rinse the toothpaste off in the morning. Use this once a day for a few weeks and you will see the acne will slowly heal up and go away.
Garlic Juice
This might not sound like it is a nice smelling treatment, however, it has great effects on the skin. Garlic contains antibiotic properties within the herb itself. These antibiotics are very effective in killing the bacteria that causes Acne to form and spread.
Take a garlic clove and peel off the skin. Crush the clove to activate the juices and place it on the affected acne area. You can do this once a day and you can wash your skin normally after you applied the garlic. You will see that once you have done this a few times, the area will start to feel nice and at a steady pace.
You can also squeeze off the juice of the garlic clove straight onto the skin.
Extra tips
- Try reducing the amount of sugar intake. Sugar results in insulin generation which can trigger your hormones to produce pimples.
- A healthy diet will ensure that your skin is getting all the minerals and vitamins that it needs to keep your skin healthy and acne free.
- You need to avoid any chemicals on your skin in the areas that are affected. You need to stay away from perfume.
- When you bath or shower, make sure you are using warm water and not hot water. Very hot water will dry out your skin and will cause your skin to secrete more oil which will clog up your pores and make your acne condition worsen.
- For chin Acne, it is important that you try not to shave or wax your chin until the acne has calmed down. Trauma to the skin will cause it to secrete more oil and will worsen your breakout.
If your skin starts to get a rash or irritated, you need to stop the treatment and rinse your skin off with cold water. Dry it with a clean towel. If the reaction lasts for more than 24 hours, you need to go to the doctor and have it looked at.
Severe cases need more than these home tricks. You need topical antibiotics and sometimes even skin treatments such as mild peels. If you are using these tricks and you seeing a dermatologist, make sure that you let them know which trick you using and how often a day you using them.“I’ve been blessed, acne never knocked on my door. I think I look pretty darn good.”
